(The poem) "Butterfly Within"

Before birth we are idea and impulse
then a bit of water and carbon
later a thread of sugar connecting to the earth
a thread of light connecting to the earth
a thread of salt connecting to the earth
 
on growing we are flesh and bone
on feeling…mmmhhhhh…we are sand and skin
we are the leaf falling and the root rising
we are the sound of water embracing fire
we carry the blue river of life in our veins
we are fragile to touch
illusion in the song of the birds
we are voice of mud
 
because  the mud speaks
the mud is our body
and from its bloom the wings of desire
 
wings for traveling to kisses
wings for traveling to dreams
wings for traveling to risks
 
flight of the soul circulating vice of wars we invent
lonliness nests an unanswered question
… Where are we going?
no no no no…no need to answer
doubt is the nourishment
for the wings emerging in our chest
to find refuge in nature.
